I was asked to share and promote this to all those who stood for the ESOS Boycott, the MyNEOD.com Family, and anyone you can share this with. Please note the text below is all from the groups Face Book Page. Lets hope for a peaceful and productive demonstration.

On the morning of July 4, 2013, Independence Day, we will muster at the National Cemetery & at noon we will step off to march across the Memorial Bridge, down Independence Avenue, around the Capitol, the Supreme Court, & the White House, then down Constitution Avenue to peacefully return to Virginia across the Memorial Bridge. This is an act of civil disobedience, not a permitted event. We will march with rifles loaded & slung across our backs to put the government on notice that we will not be intimidated & cower in submission to tyranny. We are marching to mark the high water mark of government & to turn the tide. This will be a non-violent event, unless the government chooses to make it violent. Should we meet physical resistance, we will peacefully turn back, having shown that free people are not welcome in Washington, & return with the resolve that the politicians, bureaucrats, & enforcers of the federal government will not be welcome in the land of the free. “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.” – Thomas Jefferson. Does the government fear the people? If not, something is wrong, and we aim to change it.

It is time to marshall forces and grow our numbers. Please share this page and invite all your friends. There are only two ways this goes down. 1) Obama issues an order to the DC Chief of Police who has pledged to violate the Constitution and we execute our plan with a police escort. 2) We are not allowed to enter the District and will halt the formation well before the line at which point, with the whole world watching, we will declare the federal government illegitimate, and peacefully disperse. I much prefer option one, and the more people we have on board, the more likely it is to happen. So share this page and spread the word! It looks like we’re on track to clear 10k RSVPs well before the target of June 1. The more people think about this idea, the more they realize their fears are motivations, and their uneasiness turns to resolve. But let’s not stop at 10k. Let’s get 100k signed up so that Obama himself cannot ignore us! Who knows, maybe by Independence Day, we’ll have a million people standing with us to declare that the federal government has no authority over free people when free people are not allowed in the nation’s capitol!

This event is civil disobedience because we will be violating and/or attempting to violate various regulations that have been used to curtail freedom of speech and freedom of self-defense, however, this is in response to the DC Police refusing to follow the law of the Constitution. They have been in violation of court order and the law by continuing to enforce statures that have been ruled unconstitutional. This is one in a long train of abuses, but a government that cannot be trusted to follow its own rules cannot be trusted, and we cannot allow this lawlessness to continue. We must stop this criminal government!

You are welcome and highly encouraged to attend unarmed as a supporter, or armed with a recording device. Please RSVP in the affirmative (“Going”) if you plan to attend as a witness. If there are any active duty military or law enforcement who would like to honor their oath to the Constitution by supporting this march, please contact: adam@adamvstheman.com. We especially invite law enforcement officers to stand with us armed however they feel is appropriate.

We will be able to access the area in front of the national cemetery by Metro while open-carrying as per relevant VA law: DC Metro concedes gun carry often legal on trains, buses http://www.examiner.com/article/dc-metro-concedes-gun-carry-often-legal-on-trains-buses

All who attend this march armed will be asked to stand and move in a military formation in order to maintain unity and safety. You will be expected to be dressed professionally, and there will be an inspection. As organizer, AVTM reserves the right to reject anyone from the formation at any time for any reason. There will be no use of recording devices by anyone once they have joined the ranks. If you’d like to film or photograph, please do so from outside the formation so there is no potential for confusion with hand motions. If you are not ACTIVE law enforcement, you will be asked to leave if you have any firearms other than a single rifle or shotgun slung across your back with the muzzle pointed down. Aside from adjusting the sling, you will not touch your weapon at any time during this event.

There’s a remote chance that there will be violence as there has been from government before, and I think it should be clear that if anyone involved in this event is approached respectfully by agents of the state, they will submit to arrest without resisting. We are truly saying in the SUBTLEST way possible that we would rather die on our feet than live on our knees.

There will be coordination with all relevant law enforcement agencies prior to the event.

Thanks to all the donations that have come in, we will soon be able to hire someone to help organize and coordinate logistics. Please stand by for more on this by June 1.

This is not about me or any one person. This is about an idea whose time has come and therefor cannot be stopped by any amount of force or violence. If anything happens to me between now and Independence Day, this event and the movement behind it will continue. I am happy to face death in standing up for liberty, but I have done everything possible to ensure my death would be of little consequence by inspiring everyone to be their own leader.

It was announced yesterday that REED exhibitions will NOT be the Shot Show Management Company going forward for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) ‘Shot Show’ held in Las Vegas each year.

After REED was responsible for the downfall of the Eastern Sports Show in Harrisburg in January 2013, there was a rumor that the NSSF would no longer use REED as well for their shows.

The news was announced yesterday on the NSSF Website:

“NSSF today announced that it has reached an agreement with Reed Exhibitions to terminate the agreement the parties had for the management of the SHOT Show. Accordingly, effective immediately, Reed Exhibitions will no longer be manager and producer of the SHOT Show.

Reed Exhibitions provided excellent service to NSSF and the customers of the SHOT Show for more than three decades, however, the company’s decision to restrict the sale of certain types of firearms this year at its consumer hunting and fishing show — an event unrelated to NSSF and the SHOT Show — was in conflict with NSSF’s mission to serve the shooting sports industry. As a result, both organizations decided it was in the best interest of the SHOT Show to end their relationship.

NSSF is actively engaged in the process of identifying a new show management company to manage and produce the SHOT Show beginning with the 2014 SHOT Show.”

With the loss of these two shows now behind REED, we can all stand tall an proud that we as Americans have stood tough and proud to preserve our firearms heritage.

The NSSF will be actively looking for a new management company to run the Shot Show over the next few months, we look forward to following their progress.

LEEK provides outdoor hunting, fishing, and other recreations experiences to disabled veterans through the support of local businesses and personal financial contributions from around PA and surrounding states.

They will be holding their 5th Annual Spring Open House and Fundraiser Benefit Motorcyle Run on May 10 – 12th, 2013 and we ask that you try and get out to support them if you can, or at least make a contribution or buy some raffle chances from them. They will be running short this year since they did not have the 9 day ESOS show to gather support, so every little bit will help them out.

They are an incredible group, run by active and retired military veterans and provides Hunting and fishing facilities located on their 140-acre property designed for wheelchair and vehicle access. Lodging and trail vehicles provide our veterans maximum comfort and enjoyment. During their stay, visitors of LEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve are pampered with home-cooked meals and partnered with experienced local outdoorsmen, many of whom are also veterans.

Located in scenic north central Pennsylvania, LEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve is part of a community that recognizes and values the sacrifices of our disabled service members.

Now that we have all had some time to contemplate the NRA’s decision on not allowing the sales of guns at the ‘NEW’ ESOS (The Great American Outdoor Show – 2014) what have you settled on? Me personally, I didn’t think it is a big deal, I never went there to buy a gun, but would have if I

Are you for the show in 2014 with no gun sales, or totally against it?

would have seen a good deal on something there.

But then I was asked this question… Lets say for instance REED took the stance in January, they were not going to allow the sale of any guns at the ESOS… Would the Boycott still have occurred but for a different reason, for example boycotting because of the ban on gun sales?

It made me step back a bit and really think, and I responded to him, that was a tough question. Had REED came out and made that announcement in January I am not sure it would have really ticked me off like the ban on ‘Certain Weapons’ had. They more or less came right out and alienated one certain group of weapons and owners based on nothing more than inaccurate facts and media pressure. They were not allowing even pictures or brochures of the weapons there.

Thinking back, I probably would not have been very happy with an all out guns sales ban in the 11th hour before the show, so it is hard to say what would have happened, would we have had as much support from a total ban on all gun sales? I think we would have…

So that leaves us with the question… Why are we split on the stance the NRA has taken? Alot of people are calling for another Boycott of the 2014 Show and say they are totally disappointed in the NRA, and yet other say they can see their stance, and at least the are putting the notice up front before the planning of the show so there is no surprise in the 11th hour again.

We would like to see everyone’s thoughts on this, and really see both sides of it. Are you for the show in 2014 with no gun sales, or totally against it?

Held February 1-9, 2014, the Great American Outdoor Show won’t end when the exhibit hall closes each day. NRA Country concerts, fundraising dinner banquets, seminars and speaking events from some of the country’s best-known personalities will fill the evenings to enhance attendees’ overall event experience. The NRA has over 142 years of experience producing large shows from its yearly NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, the most recent of which will occur May 3-5, 2013 in Houston with an expected attendance of over 70,000.

“The boycott of this year’s show displayed a real solidarity among the outdoor community, but left a lot of people seeking answers after the cancellation,” said David Keene, National Rifle Association President. “We heard from many exhibitors and many more of our members who expressed their disappointment and were concerned about the show’s future. As an exhibitor at the show for over 30 years ourselves, and with 900,000 of our nearly five million members within 300 miles of Harrisburg, the decision to offer our support was unanimous.”

Like the NRA Annual Meetings, firearms at the Great American Outdoor Show will be display only. However, the NRA plans to expand the presence of firearms, including Modern Sporting Rifles, by inviting national firearms and accessory manufacturers to participate in a new shooting section that will join the show’s traditional hunting, fishing, archery, camping and boating areas.

“Harrisburg is a great venue to showcase the NRA’s education, training and safety programs,” said Kyle Weaver, Executive Director of NRA General Operations. “It will also allow other conservation and outdoors organizations the ability to highlight activities through partnerships and alliances with NRA.”

Jeff Poole, Director of Membership Programs and Show Manager for the NRA Annual Meetings will take charge of directing the Great American Outdoor Show. Although produced by the NRA, the show will be open to all who enjoy the sporting and outdoor lifestyle.

“We look forward to continuing the tradition of a well-rounded sport show in Harrisburg, PA and are positive our plans will excite both new and returning exhibitors,” said Poole.

The heir to the fortune of the Anheuser Busch Company and long time supporter of the NRA canceled his membership to the NRA today claiming he is disappointed that the NRA has become so rigid on its stance with the gun control issues that they have bypassed important safety concerns in the latest bill to be shot down in DC.

He called for his name to be removed from the membership list of the NRA ‘Immediately’ and says he is simply amazed and confused of how ‘assault weapons and high capacity magazines’ play a role in the NRA’s vision. According to Busch, “The NRA I see today has undermined the values upon which it was established. Your current strategic focus clearly places priority on the needs of gun and ammunition manufacturers while disregarding the opinions of your 4 million individual members.”

Time to help show our support to Mayor Linda Thompson from Harrisburg. She will be hosting a 2nd Amendment Rally in her city and will welcome with open arms everyone who wants to show up and rally against her Anti Gun policies.

I am sure she will be thrilled to see everyone that can show up and join the cause, almost as thrilled I am sure she is to see the NRA coming to Harrisburg in February for the NEW and Improved Great American Outdoor Show after the ESOS Boycott closed the 2013 show.

A list of speakers according to the website 2ARally.com is as follows:

Representative Matt Gabler — State Legislator
Representative Gabler is a young experienced incumbent who has a clear understanding of the importance of constitutional freedoms and the consequences of ignoring these rights. He has a 100% voting record according to Firearm Owners Against Crime and can be depended upon to proactively introduce legislation to remedy the problems that currently exists in uniform firearms act.

Tim Krieger — State Legislator
Representative Krieger is an attorney and a veteran who has worked tirelessly to bring accountability to government and to protect our right to bear arms through his whole career in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives representing citizens of the 57th District. Representative Krieger has challenged government and the associated agencies regarding their interpretations of current firearms law and has introduced proactive legislation to correct the flaws therein.
Representative Daryl Metcalfe — State Legislator
As a Pennsylvania State Representative Daryl Metcalfe has been one of Pennsylvania gun owners’ steadfast allies in the fight against the gun ban lobby trying to push failed gun control schemes the public doesn’t support.

Captain (Ret.) Sean Parnell
U.S. Army Combat Veteran, Ranger and author of the New York Times Bestseller “Outlaw Platoon”
Larry Pratt — Executive Director, Gun Owners of America. Larry Pratt has been the executive director of GOA for over 30 years and has dedicated that time towards “no-compromise” pro gun lobbying and action.

Democrats suffered a defeat yesterday: The Manchin and Toomey ‘Background check and gun control bill’ was ousted from the senate when the vote fell short at a 54-46 victory in favor of our 2nd Amendment rights and freedom to gun owners in America. We however heard Biden just a month ago proclaiming, “this is just the beginning,” so we will have to be sure to continue our vigilance on gun control bills being piped through DC.

If the ‘intense radical 10%’ of us was so true, do you think they would have even lent their ears to our voice.

Obama, Gifford, frowny faced Biden, and families of Newton, CT stood side by side in a Rose Garden speech proclaiming that 90% of Americans approved of this bill, and that a intense radical 10% of us scared Democratic and Republican Senators into ‘nay’ing the bill to promote our ‘gun lobbying’ agenda.

Obama claims ‘nobody could honestly claim that the package they put together infringed on our second amendment rights… The Bill showed respect to both gun owners and victims of gun violence… Instead of supporting this compromise, the gun lobby and its allies willfully lied about the bill!… Unfortunately this pattern of spreading untruths about the bill has served its purpose.”

He claims he has talked to several of the senators who were shocked by gun violence in the US, and the fact is none of the senators could offer and good reason why they couldn’t vote for the bill, other than the 10% of Americans who didn’t approve of the bill would vote them out of office.

If the ‘intense radical 10%’ of us was so true, do you think they would have even lent their ears to our voice? Obama and Biden and their gun grabbing croanies are once again bending numbers to further their agenda to those who really are unaware of the facts in hopes that they can garner more support from those who don’t know any better.

Well, we don’t suppose the President has ever told a lie about guns, has he? Has it not been Obama’s standard operating procedure to willfully lie about what assault weapons really are and what kind of weapons were used in the Sandy Hook shooting? Has he not used an outdated and possibly bogus statistic on gun sales without background checks? Has he ever mislead the public into thinking that background checks are not done at all at gun shows?

Obama operates his regime under a cloak of darkness and deceit, and when he doesn’t get his way he throws fits like a 3 year old. The fact that he was ‘shot down’ once again really has him whining even more than usual. Watch the video below (courtesy of CNN), and get him a box of tissues if you would please.

This is truly a great step in the right direction, and everyone who took a minute or two to voice their opinions to your reps should pat themselves on the back… all 10% of you…
