Hey everyone...

My little girl is now almost 3, and we also have friends kids and nieces / nephews that come over frequently.

I obviously have several weapons stashed around the house so we are never without one in only a few steps.

I would like to get some of those bio lock safes that open when it reads your finger prints, but had read mixed reviews on alot of them.

Does anyone have any suggestions of any brands or other solutions you might use?

I second the question by MyNEOD Ranger. We have been having the same discussion here in our house.

I use a box that you have to type a combination in to open.

I have several Tom. I use the gun vault brand and so far no problems. Picked mine up at Gander Mountain
I believe mine can store up to 10 finger prints

When my kids were little, the guns were in a locked cabinet and I always had a key on me. They were also brought up around guns and knew they were not toys and they would suffer severe consequences if they EVER touched one. The combination worked very well, now they are all grown, two of them are firearms instructors for our fish and wildlife department hunter education department. the oldest of the two is also NRA certified.
